Answer: hire a very large team of people who know what they're doing.

What's your budget?

Avatar of TheGameOfChessMaster

my budget? errr, $10 per month..... not really sure... $120 per year, maybe

Avatar of TheGrobe

I'd suggest, for that budget, you simply buy yourself a premium membership here and enjoy the fruits of someone else's labour.

For $120 per year you can only register the domain name, and rent a shared server. The rest require being proficient on php, and having some essential webdesign knowledge (as well as plenty of time to work).

For $10/mo. you can probably get your site up and running in about 500 years.

Not with inflation.

Hire Bill Gates!

Download the lichess.org source code here.  Compile and play.

Easy-peasy.

Why do you even want to make another chess website? There are plenty of them already. It is a very competitive market.

1- study programmation for five years.

2- realize it is just not possible to do this by yourself, let alone on your free time and for practically no budget.

I like making my websites. I like being a creator and control the site.

?!?

About your claim of already having "made" websites, I can see only three alternatives :

-these websites are one page of plain text, nothing complex like javascript etc.

-you are a liar and those websites do not exist

-you are a programming genius, html is like a second language to you

In the first two cases, you are seriously delusional about making a website similar to chess.com (or just its live chess interface) by your own. And -guess what ? - I do not believe in the last case.

Isn't this that kid from India again who wanted to improve Houdini?  Undecided  He seems to have closed his other account which means his ridiculous threads have been lost.

Interesting hypothesis, but there is an easy way to improve Houdini :

-wait ten years ;

-buy the new version.

Just wait one year and buy whatever engine strips the crown from Houdini.
