I find it extremely hard to attack against the kings fianchetto. How do you attack the castled king?

I like to try & get rid of that bishop protecting his king some how or try & smash his defence apart on that side. But I am still learning

Oh so you should castle qside when he does a king fianchetto?

Thanks

Avatar of chamo2074

Yes, to be able to attack him with h4, h5 the pawn being supportred by the rook, and eventually when you open up the h-file the rook will be there attacking the king, also make sure to eliminate the fianchettoed bishop with Qd2 Be3 Bh6
