In my last game I played an amazing move in 1...f5 with compensation for White. happy.png How do you stop doing this?

I have made a easy step by step guide to discovering your true non-blundering self. You see Blunders are caused by a part of the brain called the "pinicalada", this part of the brain is associated with depression, suicidal thoughts, and blunders in games.

There are three steps to ascend beyond the pinicalada's hold on you, I will compile a list here:

  1. Drink 5 cans of red bull
  2. Sleep 2 hours
  3. play fast time controls, like bullet and watch as the blunders decrease and the wins come in!
  4. Listen to this song on repeat for 10 hours, it totally smothers the pinicalada part of the brain:

If you follow these steps, I can gaurantee you will beat Mangos Carleson!!!!

I don't think I could beat Mangos.

That position is a tactical dream come true!

1...Be4 Removing whites most active piece. 2. fe4 2...Rd1 Threatening check.

You should always look for forcing moves first.

Imagine your candidate move as if it's been made... but stop. Don't look at your opponent's reply right away. Just hold that position in your mind.

Now find your opponent's most annoying reply. Pay close attention to all their checks, captures, and checks.

If you still like your candidate move after finding your opponent's most annoying reply then you can play your intended move.

That's pretty good advice.
