I have got the achievement. Just go to the classical Chess.com website, go to settings, select the Board and Pieces option and select Real 3D pieces at the end of the list of pieces. It worked for me.

Type it in your browser, you can see the that I got this achievement. Also tell me if the method worked for you. If not, report it to the staff. They can fix it.

I tried this and it did not work. I also tried playing a game and it still did not work. Any other help?

Where did you make the setting change?
Nevermind, I found my mistake
Go to settings at the bottom instead of the theme. then click save preferences after switching the pieces to real 3d
you have to pick board and pieces instead of theme after going into the settings.

Still needs a lot of work, but i have this achievement covered. I've just tested, you get the achievement just by switching to 3D board pieces (i have step by step process in my guide)
