Was she cute?

It was online chess and the first time i took a whuppin from a female. And the 1st time i took a consecutive whuppin from a female in chess. And first time i dodged playing a female in anything. And first time i did not respond verbally to to take a whuppin. First time i had a first time of all of these at the same time. First time i will tell this info on it.

She was way better the bullet and blitz players on this site. She had creativity and did not need to use any traps to win. I think her big thing was if she lost so what. She did not run and come back and play immediately.

something i dont understand is why some ppl that seems to excel in 1 or 3 min chess... loose almost all games on longer games...   it would be just logical than if you are able to beat someone faster, you could do it even easier at a slower pace..   i just dont get it

I think that you should just practice. Playing with a timer adds more stress and forces you to make moves faster.

When you have more practice making moves faster, it will get easier. While your opponent is making their turn, think of what you want to do, what they could do to stop that, what they want to do, what you could do to stop that. then when it is your turn, if you have to, react to what your opponent has done (for example if they’re attacking a piece) or just try to push forward on what you would like to do.

I would recommend either playing against bots for practice or playing with 10 minute time controls and moving down from there.

It's simple. Make good moves quickly.
