I agree that the flag for "Chinese Taipei" is hugely disappointing. In the spirit of a global community and individual freedom it should be Taiwan. As an aside the official name is Republic of China. And if the idea behind "Chinese Taipei" is to avoid controversy and conflict, how do you explain a flag for the Basque country, a region of Spain where a civil war between the central government and a separatist movement has claimed many lives? Don't get me wrong, I love Spain and the Basque people. I just think that Taiwan deserves the same respect.
How does chess.com decide which countries/flags to include as options?

They probably add every country, regardless of status, but not breakaway regions (regions that want to become independent)

can we add club and video game flags?
Hello all - I see that there are many flags that aren't currently recognized by the UN but are included in the app. What gets places like Catalonia and onto the list but excludes places like Khalistan? Also noticed that Chinese Taipei is included as well as Taiwan - does that mean chess.com is pretty lax about their flag rules? If that's the case, how do I request to get one added?
