I just lost a game to a higher rated player and lost 108 rating points. I haven't played in a few years so maybe there have been changes made that I don't know about but I went from 1892 to 1784 from one loss. Is this a normal drop now?
I don't really care about the rating but just wondering how the math works. Appreciate any help understanding it, Thanks.
