How does one “study” chess?

we all have our weaknesses.

1. Analyze master games (so you have more ideas)

2. Don't believe crazy youtube videos (you won't learn from them)

3. Play chess games online (to learn from your mistakes)

4. Do puzzles (also can be on paper)

5. Study. Practice. Fix. Repeat. No battle can be won in the "study", and theory without practice is dead. That means not just "learning" but playing with others.

6. Play in tournaments

Invest in books. Get out a board and pieces, and study.

Don't just parrot the moves - take the time to figure out the point behind each move that the book does not specifically explain.

A 250 page book should take you a month to two months.

see I thought it was just me that's struggling to get 100 pages into a book 10 months later 🫠
