My time runs out as I'm reaching for the last square on level 10. I'm such a slowpoke. -.- I should play it on a pad; the mouse is dragging me down :P

Fast enough to run away from this woman. I don't want her within a 90 mile radius of any chessboard that I am using:

Crap, I got to level 15, but didn't look at my score! Pretty tough. After it goes down to 30 secs on the clock it goes down by 1 sec each time instead of 5. The last 3 levels I had about 2 seconds left on completion.

I playe using a combo of mouse and pad, mouse to move, pad to click Smile

Tried again and made it to level 19! 983500 score

The agonising moment when you have two seconds left and the last square is two diagonally down lol, my brain froze!

Wow.  Probably a great tactics trainer.  I bet there are certain ways you can prepare, similar to learning the canned responses for Rubik's cube, that make you far more effective by not having to analyze how to get to a square based on its relative position each time.

That may be thwarted though by the lack of availability of the usual transitional squares one would use with canned responses, in some of the random layups of the board.  Still, I'm sure it couldn't hurt to 'wire in' some knowledge of the fundamental transitions.

Agh... How did you manage to embed, copy/paste - or whatever you did -  the game-board?

I took a screenshot, pasted it into Paint, cropped off the unnecessary bits, and then uploaded the image Cool

about 415k for 2nd time- i realized there is no penalty for moving to the same square so did it quickly.
