How good am I really?
Ok so I’m roughly a 1530 average on blitz with my peak being 1667 or something like that. About 2 months ago I was able to make a 2,000 rating player resign. I also beat 1600 rating players quite often.
Unless you play games OTB, with long time controls. Trying to figure out your playing strength is next to impossible.
The closest approximation would be to use your Daily chess rating/games which right now is 1051. But even in those games, you're moving way to fast to get a real understanding of your ability.
Looking at some of your Daily chess games. I would say that if you did play OTB tournament chess, you would be rated around 1000-1200.
Again with the OTB non sense. this is online and OP is asking about his real rating strength according to his online play. your Glicko is pretty low so guess at the moment your exactly what your Blitz rating shows.
And otb tournaments are way more fun than online. You'll like the competition more.

This is what was asked:
"How good am I really?"
If that is the question, then you look at the long time control games. You don't play the game Operation, and then ask: "How good of a surgeon am i really?"
You dont buy a flight simulator game, and then ask: "How good of a pilot, am i really?"
Currently, you're exactly where the ratings say you are. You're not a noob, obviously, so sometimes you beat a 2000, you know chess. But, your consistency isn't there yet. Minus the cheats you might face, every other factor concerning your wins and losses, be it fatigue or a mood, is right there with your consistency, considering your day to day lifestyle.
So the real question is, under ____ conditions, how good am I?

Correct. To many (most?) of us, "really" means "OTB, slow time control".
My online rating is around 2300, but I'm "really" (OTB, slow time control) around 2000 strength.
Plus, you haven’t played blitz recently, so it’s hard to judge that rating
I have beaten titled players OTB at long time controls. Does that mean im a titled player? Of course not.
I'm talking actual ratings, you're talking online speed chess ratings. You're trying to compare apples to oranges. You dont have to like, and or agree with what i said. Its just my opinion. I like to tell people what they need to hear, no what they want to hear. No worries, youll find plenty of people that will tell you what you want t hear.
Yea dude, you just beat somebody.
It's not like you ate their soul and absorbed their powers.
You're not a highlander.
If i could do that with bacon...
you're the simply best ...
... that you can be.
I have to agree with IMBacon. I looked over your Daily game history, and in all likelihood, you are a class E or class D player. In other words, you know some tricks that win you blitz games, but your knowledge of chess is quite elementary.
To turn the question around on you. How much and what have you studied in order to try and get better?
And otb tournaments are way more fun than online. You'll like the competition more.
See what I mean? Perfect example of the difference. That type of childish rudeness isn't in otb. Im actually offering real advice, ur not. He didnt specify he was speaking of online only so the best advice to give is to point out otb tournaments. So stick that wherever the mood strikes u.
