How good is 1600-1650 rapid rating after 3 years of playing?

It isn't bad actually, playing a lot of games would get one where you're rn, as you'd have realised by now that getting better in chess is like an exponential curve, and gets super slow after a certain threshold ELO. From that particular level, you'd have to study chess, watch top games, work on your openings, solve quality puzzles and work on your endgame prowess!

I mean it's not good or anything compared to an actual master level player or 2200+ player your objectively bad. My rapid is probably 2000+ if i grind rapid. 2500+ rapid and blitz is when i'd say your good. i am bad by all standards of chess play

I agree. I got to my elo just by playing, as well as a bit of studying here and there, but it seems like this is the ceiling.
