It depends on what you want.
To be a master, you will need to study lots, quit other hobbies, etc.
But it is doable.

Best you can do is that you study chess, play, analyze games and so on... Then you decide if you want to dedicate years of your life to chess improvement and be the best you can be. If the answer is yes - try it, why not.
Dont listen to igor.
He is a idiot and a stupid person.
igor is wrong, but not idiot and stupid person
It has been 3 weeks since I started chess and I think I've accomplished a lot. Prior to making my chess account, I knew the basic rules and I played a bit with my grandfather, although it should be noted that I was 9. I am asking this question to determine whether or not I should pursue the title of master. Don't worry about being too blunt or critical, I just want an honest opinion. Thanks.
Hey Mustafa!
For just starting out, your ELO is good! Everyone grows at different rates! I'm a rather slow grower, as I've been playing for a number of years now and have only reached 1700 on chess.com recently.
Growth is dependent on simply how much work you put into it. Becoming a master takes a bit of work, but it is doable! Just stick with the game, and you can do it!
