Regardless of Levy's performance in this tournament he is a (much) stronger player than anyone on this thread. Achieving IM strength and the title that goes with it is something that very few chess players manage. He does not deserve the rudeness and disrespect that some on this thread have shown.
Thanks for writing this -- it deserves to be said. His first game -- as black -- he drew a guy rated in the 2460-something. How many here can do that?

Again burning plenty of time in the opening where the average player would just go BF4. I bet he's figuring out some crazy stuff again. Probably thinking: yes BF4 is good, but is it content?
I like his commentary, very educational, I don’t know how good he is relative to GMs though.

At playing he is almost good- so far his highest rating is about the same as mine many years ago.
As a chess streamer and YT influencer, he is total junk, which explains why he has so many followers.

The chatter where he gives his thought processes during the games is not reassuring.
I guess that proves he's a dingaling. First not playing the Ne4 move to trade off the minors; second taking the protection from the knight and allowing the Ba3 idea by playing b3; third by not grabbing the offered draw in half a heartbeat.
It's pretty nice of him to share such a bad game with the whole youtube gang, so he gets back a few respect points for that.
