How hard is it to make an Animated GIF of a chess game?

Anyone do this?

Thought it might be cool to do this for some of my team's Vote Chess matches.

It's rather easy, provided that you have the proper program. It does take a bit of computer knowledge, though.

Thanks Raibutai, is that site just for cursors or can it make GIF's of larger items?

Well, from my experience, you can make things other than cursors. I've made plenty of GIF files using that program, so no problems there. 

All you have to do is change the size of the animated "cursor" as they call it, and you can do plenty of editing. When you finish, instead of exporting as a cursor, you export as a GIF.
