Doing puzzles and analyzing your games is good, keep that up, but also consider indulging in some Endgame study.
You could do it via a book (Silman’s Complete Endgame Course, 100 Endgames You Must Know, etc.) or via online resources. Saint Louis Chess Club has many quality Endgame lectures.
The most imperative to know Endgame variants being K+P and K+R Endgames.
You must understand that Endgames are very important at the 2000+ level, as at that level the 2000+ that claims to “suck at Endgames” will still likely be quite a bit better at them than any of your current opponents.
As for your question, it will take a couple of years if you work thoroughly and consistently at it, and if you lose interest or slack off for a while, you might never get their.
So keep up the good work, and consider my recommendation of studying Endgames.
I wish you well upon your journey. :)
I am a 15 year old who just started chess around January with a rating of 800 cc rapid and I got to 1400 cc rapid at the end of May, and I am wondering how talented I am and when am I capable of getting a title like a CM otherwise when can I get to 2000 USCF or 2200 FIDE? Bty, I play at least 5 games a day, do tons of puzzles everyday, and analyze at least 2 games I played.
