How many points did you increase this year?

Nice, so 400 the first year. I'm at 1400 FIDE and made it my end goal to reach 1700. I'm not sure if it's too high since I'm already 30 years old. I still don't know what's possible or impossible for people that started playing late

From 800 to 1250 in 4 months if i remember well.
But after it's a lot slower!
If you are 1400 Elo you should get +100 every year IF you know what is your weakness?
No one know your cap but you can improve a lot after 30....
Unless you are under tremendous stress.....

How many points did you increase this year?
At least 597
Of course maaaaaaaybe I was a little underrated 30 days ago

But for real, probably the most I've ever gained in 1 year was less than 200 points, to be honest.
And last year I probably barely improved at all.
My puzzle rating is a good story as its steadily climbed from 400 to 1375 since January when I started playing. That's the result of a consistent 5 a day habit. My game play has remained consistently around 1300 but I feel stronger and have wheened myself off using the analysis board in Daily to explore candidate moves thanks to better calculation and visualisation skills so 1300 now is a more accurate reflection than 1300 4 months ago.

In June 2019, my overall rating was 700 and now I have reached to 1400 and staying in between 1410 and 1420
Yes, I get my validation through internet numbers, I guess I could be a youtuber lol.
How many rating points did YOU increase in a year?
Don't tell me, it's different for everyone, tell me how many YOU gained (or lost).
There's some interviews where people increased 100 to 175 a year at
