How many years corresponds with each rating?

sorry don't know how to edit on mobile, so double post to elaborate. I mean to say that I'm currently bouncing between 850-900 although I'm a bit above 900 right now. I have been playing chess for 6 months with no coach or prior experience. So my idea of an average player is someone like me, with no coaching just youtube videos and practising the chess.com tsctics

This!

That is hard to say. I've seen people who play every week and do their tactics for 4 years. Roughly speaking, they should be about 1500 (serious) rating by then. However, average players don't last that long and they just stay stuck below that. So, if you mean average, you should reach 1300 to 1400 within 3 to 4 years and that's about it. It can go faster if you're talented and keep looking for challenging materials, but then you're above average.

A guide to chess improvement by Dan Heisman. I'd advise you to get it. I think it's the best beginner book out there.

I have been playing for 2.5 years now. I am eleven and I have achieved a rating of 1600 in blitz so idk. It is mostly about the time u dedicate to chess and if u have taken any lessons. I, myself, haven't taken any so I think I have a pretty good rating.

There is no such correspondence. If you have talent you can be 1800 by age 12. If you don't, you still will be 1200 at age 50. That's with hardly any real work, just playing. If you put a LOT of work into it, you can raise that by 600 or so--that is, an ordinary player who puts in a lot of work gets to 1800 and a talented player who puts in a lot of work gets to 2400. Not counting the world-class talents who work it like a full time job and get to 2600+. But the point is, talent is the real key.
