How much time i should take in one day to practice chess?

Seriously, you should only study and practice for as long as you can stay focused.

the rule is if you play bulllet, study bullet time.

if rapid, study rapid time (20 mins etc)

if standard then...

etc.

A long time ago in a faraway thread someone posted a similar question vowing to study 6, 8, even 10 hours a day if that was what it took to become a titled player.  Our own WGM Natalia Pogonina replied that it only took 3 to 4 hours a day of consistent study but that in chess, no accomplishment was guaranteed.
