Do it yourself, then use the computer to find what you missed. Fritz will point out the best tactical combination, but can never teach you to find it for yourself, nor will you see the positional trends and patterns.
My method of analysis is to act like it's a game with no time limit, considering all the aspects of the moves, positional and tactical. Often you will notice patterns that you did not pick up on during the game.
I have been wondering what the best way to get the most information out of analysing/annotating my games are. Would it be to use a computer or do it myself, and how should I go through the process of looking at the candidate moves? Please help!
