Today I played a game vs leela hard level and I lose.
I analysed with stockfish for any possibility I can exploit her in the opening line I played vs her.
At move 9. I played cxd5 vs her and did not get any advantage in the opening and I lose eventually. Stockfish analysis suggest me to play 9.Qb3.
As usual, computer evaluations come from deep level of depth 30+. So I deeply followed to the end principal variation of SF and other possible 20 lines why SF suggested me Qb3.
Here is one of my analysis with SF.
SF suggestion of 9.Qb3 is refuted, there is no advantage in depth 30. SF cant find any possibility to force win/force advantage as white. Seemingly leela played perfect up to move 8 and she is beyond my level, or at least 2200+.
Conclusion, to get best benefit from computer analysis,
1. Always follow at least principal variation for another 15 moves(30 ply) from the current position. Optional try 10-20 alternative variations, sub trees.
2.Evaluate the position of the end of principal variation with your own knowledge.
3.Multi PV 1, (more multi PV, less efficient in depth) and always use best no of cores in your computer.
Good luck.
