good question. I have tried it myself and the only result I get is that he gives the best move. I get this after I press the analysis button. What you want is a overview of good and bad moves and the alternatives. You can download the freeware program Fritz. When you load the pgn file and use the coach options then you get a good advise what your mistakes are and alternatives. There are a lot of other options with that program too. e.g. You can play a game and the coach will look over your shoulder and say when you make a mistake.
It is not allowed to use these programs for advise during a game. Offocurse many of us knew this but for the new people around here I repeat it.
How to analyze with Arena?

Thanks! I'll be sure to try Fritz out!
Very weak question, but I've really been wanting to know: How can I analyze a pgn file with Arena (and the Deep Rybka 4 engine I use with it)? I can import the file, run the analysis, but the only problem is that i can't concretely find the results. I set an output to a directory, and then I see that when analysis is done, there's a notepad file that sums up the analysis. Is that the results? Or is there a way to play all variations, and targeted mistakes in arena? Thanks for your help in this probably-easy-to-resolve issue that I can't seem to resolve!
