How do you stay away from blunders?

JugglinDan

Don't look for reasons why a move is good, look for reasons why it's bad.

try heismans books, I think hes quite good on this stuff, try a guide to chess improvement.

It looks like you play mostly live, usually blitz, chess. That's great, but there are many different styles of chess. I tried a little blitz and don't like it, in part, because I don't like the blunders that the extreme time pressure creates. For some people, that's part of the excitement of blitz chess.

If you're trying to reduce blunders and/or work on analysis and planning, maybe try higher time limits or even "turn-based" chess. If you're trying to reduce blunders in blitz chess, maybe a good blitzer can chime in for you.....

Hope this helps

Mistakes will always happen, the key is to make them smaller.  Double check you moves to start with.
