There's a way to instantly become a GM. You have to win a World championship, World Female championship or World Junior championship. Easy

I see. So, read it, because you either did not, or did not understand what is written there.

It means that before, people above 2600 FIDE were considered supergrandmasters, but now they are considered Grandmasters.

Now people above 2700 are supergrandmasters.

There are multiple things that are needed to become a GM or IM; rating is just a small part of it.

https://handbook.fide.com/chapter/B01Regulations2017

With the exception of some ways to get the title automatically, a player has to get 3 norms for the title level and have obtained the minimum rating at some point: 2500+ for GM, 2400+ for IM.

To get the norms, you have to play at a minimum time control, face players from multiple federations, and have opponents that meet specific title/rating requirements, and have a certain performance rating in the event.

Way to be negative lol, the kid’s 10. If they put in dedication they could be one some day.

It'll be almost impossible.

But it is possible for some people.

Negative? first off he's obviously not 10, but even if he was, he cant reach GM no matter how much he practiced. at 10 years of age being at that rating is not good enough, its no where near.

Realism isn't negativity.
