Just play chess. If you want to improve a lot then learn too. If you become god enough to get a title then you'll get one, but I can never understand why people get so fixated on aiming for it.

For a direct title to be awarded immediately an applicant has to have achieved at some time or other a minimum rating as follows:
GM 2300 WGM 2100
IM 2200 WIM 2000
FM 2100 WFM 1900
CM 2000 WCM 1800
You need to get a 2000 FIDE and chess.com has nothing to do with it.
Actually, you need 2300 FIDE for the FM title.
