The best way to control the center is getting in this position.
I've done black doesn't get in your way, so I can explain how you'll get in the position, but in a real match black would play well chess against you and then you won't get easy in this position. If you get in this position, you may be happy with your play. If you can't get in the position, try to control the center with your little soldiers (I don't know how they're called, but you have eight of them.) and Knights and Bishops in the first. Later you can go with your Queen and Rooks.

"controlling the center is to control the game" as you see the angle occufied by pawn is the center board. if you control this angle....you have 70% great position to control the center. you must put your pieces and pawn on this square (c4,d3,d4,d5,e3,e4,e5 and f4) if you get position on this square you can control the center..... but the question is how can you take position on this square?
