How to disable auto-logout?!

Why does chess.com erase/reset my (mobile) computer games in progress, seemingly at random intervals?!
Why should I ever be automatically logged out of an app/account that I pay for and am actively using from the same device??  What is the risk here?!

How do I disable chess.com auto-logout?

Whenever you try to login, check the 'remember me' box and then login. Just try this. Not sure though! But, I don't think there's any way to disable auto logout manually.

Most mobile phone apps don’t log me out - security doesn’t appear to be a concern.

When I am kicked out (for inactivity I presume),
I lose my current game against the computer, which is incredibly irritating especially since I cannot save my ongoing games.

I should be able to set the timeout duration from last activity, say, 48 hours.

This is just bad design.

I've never been logged out of the app. The website, however, does use session code and will require logging back in after some time.

I wonder if chess.com doesn’t like subscribers being logged in two different places at the same time - phone and desktop - and then decides it can only be accessed be at a time?
