how to expand game board

I can't seem to expand the game board.  There might be a bug in my computer but I can't seem to expand it.  Does anyone know how to expand the board so that it's a at least 25-30% bigger?

There is a theater mode and a focus mode available that do help expand the board a little. (Theater mode shown below) It is one of the choices when you scroll over the top right of the board.

However, if you could expand much further, you would lose content on the sides.

you're right, I used my wide screen which is about the same size as my first screen but a lot wider and it did the trick. A wide screen allows for a bigger chess board and all the advertising and game info.
