castle and camp for 1 min

That fails miserably, the opponent just takes over the board in most cases...

its super-hypermodern method you let opponent checkmate you and then you take back the centre

i also feell that you can tilt the worst in bullet and can lose 100 points in no time

DrewGainer

That's absolutely true. It's pretty easy to tilt 350 points in a few hours, having done it before.

Omega_Doom

Bullet is insane.

Realistically the best way to get better at bullet is to improve your actual chess. The main thing that separates a 2000 or 2200 player from a 2600+ one is not mouse speed or internet or the quality of your mouse. Its rather how quickly a 2600 can develop a quick plan in any scenario. Half of bullet is based on your intuition. Of course, learning how to move faster will help your bullet skills dramatically but it will only bring you so far.

That's what these fast blitz and bullet games do. I was playing 5+5's for like two days straight just because I needed to really work on my mental game. Fighting to convert winning positions, fighting back when losing, not abandoning games out of frustration. It's worked and I'm getting myself into good shape here to improve but I know that if I was spending all that time on bullet I would just feel irritated and wouldn't be improving at all.

i have to agree at your level is better to avoid bullet ,but i m 2000+ in rapid so i guess it is ok

Of course you're on a totally different level than me. I'm just saying: No matter who you are, you're going to tilt and blow off some points in bullet now and then. In any event - It's nothing like going on a bad run in poker.

yes you are right especially on fast chess when you can lose 30 games in an hour!!
