How to get 2000 otb

^ I'm 1940s rn I wanna try and get 2k any advice? Preferably from people also trying to get 2k or people who already got it. Thanks in advance

Okay but if I'm being serious, isn't breaking 2000 USCF like breaking any other rating milestone? Just keep studying where you're weak and playing and you should be able to break it (then again take this with a grain of salt as I'm weaker then you and not 2000 USCF lol)

You get to 2000 the same way you got to 1940.

Try not to focus on getting 2k I know that sounds dumb lol, but try to focus on one game at a time, take each game and play your best, with practice and improvement 2k will come! you got this!

I'm 1939 otb, we should play a ten game match so one of us will get 2k lol

Make a list of mistakes of your five most recent tournaments and see what mistakes pop up frequently

My two most frequent mistakes were just not taking the time to calculate in critical positions and getting lazy, so every game I force myself to say, "ok, let's do a little more. A little more". It helped me at least.

Also I'm pretty sure 2250-2400 blitz translates to 2k strength so you can  probably get it if you have a tourney where your in good form, gl
