How to get a brilliant move?

Well, I know what are brilliant moves, they are really really excellent moves. But I never seem to get one even when I try my best. It shows "Best move" or sometimes "Mistakes". Well, aren't brilliant moves the best move? Do any of you play at least one brilliant move every game?

I know they're hard to get. But mustn't a player play at least 1 brilliant move per month? Or do really good players like Fischer Play it?

not per month, u have to find a good move or if u spam play games some random moves will be brilliant due to stockfishes weakness

Yeah, they are rare. I've played literally thousands of chess.com games and I've only gotten a brilliant move maybe 10 times before and half of those I still lost the game because I didn't follow up with the "brilliancy" correctly. grin.png

I did get one cool "Brilliant" move about a week ago though happy.png

from my experience, brilliant moves are sacrifices or like counterattacks. they can also be random moves that for some reason are considered "brilliant". i dont have alot of experience of brilliant moves tho, since i have only made 2 brilliant moves.

You need to sacrifice something and that sacrifice must be your best move. I sacrificed two pieces to force a draw.

its not forced sacrifice for brilliant it can be a counterattack that wins more material then the 1st attack

The draw is “forced” because the alternative is inevitable loss.

i meant its not only sacrifices not what you thought

You get them by performing a really disgusting warped move that shutters their dreams
