Absolutely.
The endgame is also pretty bizarre, white is up a piece and still losing in the end by letting the harmless black pawn queen.
Do a lot of puzzles, spend at least 15 minutes a day doing puzzles. chesstempo.com offers unlimited puzzles for free so i recommend that.
