How to get FIDE ID

I would like to know how can I get FIDE ID through chess.com if possible because there is a tournament in UAE and I would like to goin

I believe you have to get a FIDE ID# through the chess federation of your country. Chess.com cannot do that.

I am in Canada. If I message CFC (Chess Federation of Canada) will they just give me a Fide ID since I am a part of their organization or will I have to go through the tedious process of competing in CFC Rated tournaments until my rank is high enough to compete in CFC Fide rated ones before they give me an ID?  Because it would kind of be nice to just jump in to Fide tournaments (even if I have to fly to another country) than to compete in dozens of tournaments that won't help me attain a Fide title.

@S_A_McDonell, that's a good question, but one that can probably only be answered by the CFC. In my situation here in the US, I wanted to play in a tournament overseas, but didn't have a FIDE ID. I was told I needed to ask the USCF (US Chess Federation) to obtain it for me.  I sent them an email explaining the situation and they took care of it; they emailed me my FIDE ID the next day. I already had a rating from playing in USCF-rated tournaments, but honestly, I'm not sure what the rules are. I'm sure they'll help you out if you ask them.

They responded and were very nice.  I have to purchase a year membership with CFC (Chess Federation of Canada) and then after the year, they can send me a Fide ID!
