Basically, I want to try to get to 1200 by the end of the year. Does anyone think that is possible? And if so, how do you think I should do it?

Thanks, @Calebaleb12!

I see you play a lot of games. Beyond that, are you spending time studying? And if you are, what does that look like?

Based on your chess.com history over the past year, I think it's unlikely you will hit 1200 by the end of the year unless you make some changes. But it's certainly not impossible.

I am not actually spending that much time studying, so I guess studying would help. I do puzzles everyday and try to review my games, but sometimes I forget. The reason I do not study much is mostly becuase I have school, so I just do not have much time to study chess.

What do you think I should do to study?

Yes, it's possible. You can get there by improving your tactical vision.

Thing number one, play the open games with 1 e4 to learn tactics more quickly. Thing number two, master one tactical motif per day--to this aim I recommend ChessMood's Chess Tactics Ninja course. Finally, thing number three, I dislike chess.com's puzzle server; after you master each fundamental tactical motif, try chesstempo instead as it does not baby you. I prefer timed puzzles, but untimed has the advantage that you can write down your solutions before playing your moves so that you can fine-tune your thought process during a real game.

Hope this helps!
