Don't hang pieces, work on openings. Understand what is favorable exchange.

Have a basic opening repertoire & minimize one move blunders while capitalizing on your opponents.

Only play rapid a few times a day, if at all. Use all your focus and, win or lose, analyze afterwards and improve. angry.png happy.png That's what I do and I'm okay. happy.png wink.png

Hang no pieces, hang no pawns and you are 1500 overnight.
Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it.

I wrote some guidance for a couple of people here on this topic. Drop me a DM if you're interested and we can talk it over.

The higher I get the more it's about being able to see when your opponent makes a mistake and finding the move to capitalise on it. When things get clogged at my level anyway, frustration and impatience at a middle game seemingly going nowhere is where these mistakes happen. I've been using aimchess and some of the training stuff they have on there like visualisation and spotting the bad move in a series of moves

In my personal experience learning an opening really helped. And then trying to notice how other people respond and what openings they might be using. And then for the middle and end game doing puzzles everyday really helped to see tactics. I think they let you do like 20 a day for free or more with the least expensive membership. Good luck! happy.png

Tbh it is simple keep grinding and practicing. Get a coach or if you can't afford one get a membership on chess.com and do puzzlesgames, lessons etc...

I struggling at 1115 and I do not take in account what my opponents are doing like tunnel vision it is annoying but if any advice do not hang pieces or get yourself in a bigger mess by taking one piece and losing material

Focus on learning from each game rather than solely on the result.
