how to get to 1600 elo?

having troubles getting to 1600 elo. only 1400 elo rn, have been stuck at this rating for quite some time.if u have any tips, pls share.

It looks like you have only been playing actively for a few months. You join in 2021 and rose to just under 900 in rapid. Then you largely stopped playing until June of this year Your rise close to 1500 in rapid in only 3 months was very quick.

I think you need to have a little patience.

I looked at your game summary. It says you lose 100% of your games through resignation. It seems likely you are giving up too easily sometimes. I am not saying you should play every game out to the bitter end but look at this game, for example:

Youre down by a pawn. The evaluation is -2. You might have resigned because you noticed that your queen move leaves you open to a knight fork. That would actually have been a bad move.

I don't think it was time to resign.

thanks a lot for the advice, I was a lot more patience in my next few games and reached 1500 rn.
