How to go from 300 ELO to 2300 ELO

I am not able to understand why I am stuck at 300 ELO. I aspire to be at least 2300, and I have been able to solve puzzles of around that level. I'm wondering either my tactical skills are not broad enough (All of the puzzles I do are checkmate puzzles), or my positional skills suck. I even have screenshots from the puzzles below

That's the thing. I can calculate the same tactical ideas of Alekhine and Kasparov, but I have trouble getting to the same positions

Isn’t your puzzle rating in the 1100’s? That’s nowhere near tactical mastery, and it’s easier to solve a puzzle when you know there is something to look for, unlike an actual game.

The biggest reason people struggle in lower-level chess is because of blunders. They make them in almost every game.

A mistake can instantly put you in a bad position, no matter how well you played earlier: if you had great opening knowledge, great positional skills, great endgame skills, whatever; a single mistake can change everything (you lose a piece or get checkmated).

So, how do you avoid blunders? Follow this simple algorithm:

While avoiding blunders is crucial, I also share a few basic principles with my students. These principles help them figure out what to do in each part of the game - the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. Understanding these simple principles is like having a map for your moves. I provide my students with more advanced algorithms that incorporate these fundamental principles. When you use this knowledge along with being careful about blunders, you're not just getting better at defending. You're also learning a well-rounded approach to chess. Keep in mind, chess is not just about not making mistakes; it's about making smart and planned moves to outsmart your opponent.

Speaking of 2300...

Read my posts number 4, 7 to 10, and 12 in this thread:

GM Larry Evans' method of static analysis - Chess Forums - Chess.com

and play over the three sample games (my posts) on the following pages.

"why I am stuck at 300 ELO" ++ Because you blunder

"I aspire to be at least 2300" ++ That is ambitious. Try 1500 first by eliminating blunders.

"I have been able to solve puzzles of around that level" ++ Puzzle rating is vastly inflated. Moreover the time per puzzle should be less than the time per move in a game. Moreover in a real game nobody tells you there is a tactic, or for which side.
