Well, not sure what to say. I appreciate your response anyway.
How-To-Grandmaster
If self-confidence is any significant factor, I'd say in about 5 minutes...
It's a silly question but I'll give you a serious answer.
The people who actually do it generally take 5-10 years. So it will probably take you that long.
Although since people who actually do it also start chess very young, and only 1% of 1% who start young become GM, the most likely answer, not pessimistically but statistically, is that you wont ever be a GM.
And since you're not a beginner, but around 1500, the timer has already started. You've probably been playing for a few years, so I guess you'll be a GM 3-7 years from now, or not at all.
The title reminds me of the youtuber "how to basic"
Maybe one day he will make a video "how to grandmaster"
Until then:
It's not impossible, but highly unlikely. There's people that have studied hard since they were kids and never break the 2400 mark. but the best way to do it if you want to try is to get a coach who is a GM, read a ton of theory books top to bottom, and play in as many tournaments as you can. do that for 10 years, it's possible you might be 2500, but again it's VERY tough to earn that title.
There’s a difference between speaking the truth and just being rude. People play chess for fun. Telling him to just leave (even as a joke) discourages people.

By beginner I meant that I never formally studied chess which I am planning to. I give that it takes immense dedication and some inherent abilities but I don't see why it's ridiculously impossible to the extent of the comments that followed. Also, even if this may sound irrelevant, I am an INTP of MBTI personality meaning that I am logically inclined to almost everything, so what needs to be understood is the practical aspect of it.
Let's pretend we have a collection of games. 5 played by players over 2700, 5 played by weak GMs, 5 played by IMs, and 5 by FMs.
Most chess players can't tell the difference between these games by looking because a player can only estimate within about 400 rating points above their own rating.
You say the responses are too negative, but the truth is you have no idea how good a GM is. What you imagine to be a GM right now might only be as good as me, for example, or even worse.
So you want to be a GM? Ok, but set some other goals too. Like getting to 2000. If you've never been to a FIDE rated tournament, then a goal should be to go to one very soon. These are more practical and will get you closer to GM.
For what it's worth I'm INTP too.
This is a bit like saying, "Recently I've been reading some physics and am thinking of becoming an Einstein."
Yeah, I mean, honestly I'm >50% sure it's a troll topic, but as usual it's hard (for me) to tell.
Your certainty that you can do this draws a fair amount of criticism because it smacks of arrogance as much as of self-confidence. Without a good idea of what it takes, you believe you can do what nearly all of us know we cannot. You must think yourself very special indeed. Maybe you are, but pardon the cynicism from those who doubt it.

This is truth right here.
Only reason a beginner 30 year old would claim to be know he/she will become a GM is if they have no idea how tremendously difficulty it is to even become a decent chess player. Let alone a Master....
Okay this is a serious question. I am a beginner in chess and 30 years old. Recently, I gained some interest in the game and thinking of becoming a grandmaster. I have some plans of my own to reach there. My question is, how long do you think it will take me to reach there? (To all the pessimists, I know I will become a grandmaster. The question is only about "when")
