You are trying to generalize and twist specific points I made so you can call them exaggerations.

Well there's so much said on this topic that I disagree with I guess I was confusing you with someone else.

Lets go back to what you said at the beginning.

I have no doubt he could reach 2100+ in online blitz without improving at all.

My response: you're wrong.

We're not even disagreeing about the most important points, like if a person is serious about improvement they should play in OTB tournaments.

It's pretty clear you like arguing for the sake of arguing. It's not as entertaining for me though. I guess it's time for you to find someone else to play with.

I'll stick to entertaining myself with super serious blitz games, like this one I played immediately after posting #66 lol

Of course, the irony of all irony.  During all of this discussion, @staples13 goes and demonstrates it.

Yeah, poor guy was even rated below 1000 for a time.

I wonder how that happened... I guess it's a mystery.

Oh this? Just an image I found. Sure, I'll leave it here...

My last few games (about 11 of them) I felt like I played super terribly. Even the games I won I felt like I could lose at any moment because I couldn't calculate worth anything. And I kept screwing up my opening prep because I was moving too fast (I was drunk and listening to loud music which encourages me to play sloppy and fast)

So yeah, I know how that is.

But you have to have a certain base strength to do it. If his max without cheating is 2000, and he's what I call a blitz specialist, then OTB he shouldn't be rated lower than 1600. Pumping it up 400 is about the most a person can do IMO.
