Even SuperGM's don't know.
How to handle a swindle??
I never expect my opponent to resign, so I don't run into that problem. To be honest, I'm often secretly disappointed when they do, especially when it's heading towards a pretty finish. Of course, I don't resign so long as I have any counterplay at all.
Best advice I can give is to place extra value on the initiative when you're under time pressure. One passive move can easily undo a who game's worth of hard work under such circumstances, so it's often better to play a move that's obviously forcing, even if it might not be quite the best.

I also dont expect them to resign.
As for time pressure, I'd be in time pressure but not my opponent because it makes sense that the person swindling will make the other guy think
Yeah, when you're lost, try to complicate, play tricky moves. When you're better try to simplify. ![]()
GMs resign when they don't see the way to trick their opponents any more. They play on for some time before resigning.
Never expect an opponent to resign. If you make that your mentality you will treat the rest of the game as a game to win by focusing and converting. If you have the mindset of "I already won.", you are more likely to succumb to tragedy. Puzzle rush can help you see basic tactics when low on time and if you can manage your time earlier you won't even be in that situation. Just continue to practice and don't feel entitled to a win otherwise negative emotions may take effect if you lose.![]()
They're so annoying, you expect your opponents to resign, they find sudden counterplay you think and lose on time or dont think and get crushed.
How to handle those???
