1450 is a respectable rating for any age. Sometimes we forget just how hard this game is. At your age though you've probably just hit a plateau. It can happen especially if there's a lot of new knowledge that hasn't really become second nature yet. I like Coach Heisman's idea of the 3 components to getting better at chess: study, play, and feedback/analysis on your play. If any are out of balance your progress will suffer. Just in case you're not aware of the Coach, here's a link to 10 years worth of his award winning monthly chess columns. Try not read them all in one night...

For me, it helped to not look at the actual pieces, but to the lines they cover. The simple logic is, a piece or pawn does NOT 'control' the square it occupies, but it can threaten or move to the squares it covers.In this way, you change your view of the board. The first (pieces & pawns) I call the static view, the second (lines) is the dynamic view.
THe difficult logic is, it is really hard to learn your mind how to do it. I still haven't masered it completely. And now I'm playing less, the ability to do it, seems to slip.
As an addition to maddogno's comment: learning also involves NOT studying. If your mind 'rests', it has time to storage what you have learned. That is a process you cannot force. Study, rest, repeat, do other things/rest etc is one of the best ways to learn.

Thanks achja for your advise but dont judge me on my turn-based games as i dont play them seriously. Even in a 3day game i think hardly 30sec on a move and play it. Thats why i do blunders but i m a better player in real life than at chess.com. At chess.com i never play seriously but i will soon post some fide rated tournament games of mine so that u can judge me at my best play. Till then please dont judge me on my chess.com games which i play just to pass the time.

Where does one play rated FIDE games against 1300 rated players? I thought FIDE rated players were 2000 or higher.
only one thing to improve ur chess..find ur mistakes in ur games and find the best solution of that mistakes with out the help of computer{engines}..if u do as this way ..ur chess skill will improve and that mistakes won't repeat..

How many hours a day do you practice/study?
Have you tried the " chess mentor" ? lessons with a virtual chess coacher. its the best .
