HOW TO MAKE ANOTHER ACCOUNT IN CHESS COM

The site only allows one account per member. So if you want another close the first.

@ Martin_Stahl, unless you are a titled player, and are into Bongcloud speedruns and stuff like that.

Ok, there are a few exceptions. Regular members with multiple accounts risk having them all closed.

Anybody know how a titled player should go about making a second anonymous account? Just make another account with the same email address, or is there some special way to go about this? There seems to be no info on this issue, except that Danny stated that titled player can have two accounts.

You will need a second email address, but once you've created that anonymous account, let the Support team know about it via https://support.chess.com/article/346-contact-us from your Titled account, and they'll update their documentation so they don't get closed as a duplicate or impersonation

david, could you explain the reasoning behind allowing titled players two accounts?
the 'anonymous' part piqued my curiosity.
I have discovered how I can make another account, but I have need another e-mail and I have only on e-mail. And I have another e-mail, but that is from school.
I have 7 active email accounts and a few more that I forget the passwords for. Do you want to borrow one?

I'm not @david but one reason would be to test out openings without their opponents from knowing what they are playing.

To be honest, I've never asked why Titled players can have an anonymous account - my own guesses would be that we'd prefer that their official account identified them easily whereas their anonymous account could have whatever fun name they may want to use: that would make it easier knowing who's playing when commentating on Chess.tv - so everyone knows instantly when @DanielNaroditsky or @Hikaru is playing, as opposed to wondering who @BigFish1995 is and having to click onto their profile to learn that it's actually Vladimir Fedoseev, or that @penguingm1 is Andrew Tang.
Maybe it's also to give them a level of privacy so they can just play and muck around and not have to worry too much about maintaining a certain level of decorum that people might expect of titled players. That's not a free pass to misbehave, of course, but maybe just being a bit freer.
I can always ask if you're really keen to know.
