How to make Martin play against Bard (Gemini)?

I'm trying to figure out how to get Martin to play against Google Bard (now Gemini but I'm calling it Bard because Bard is a better name than Gemini). It would seem simple enough; one just has to open Bard, convince it it can play chess by typing in chess notation, then play the moves against Martin on chess.com.

The thing is... Bard really likes to play illegal moves. So I need to find a way to play Martin in set up position (where you can make illegal moves). I'm not exactly sure how to do this. Do I need to save every position where Bard makes an illegal move and then load it against Martin to see what move he makes? That seems incredible cumbersome. Is there a better way to do this?
