How to play against aggressive players?

I just had a game where the guy kept pushing wing pawns until I was completely cramped. Didnt see a single way out.

Another example is the sicillian f4 -> Qf3 -> g4 attack. People claim sicillian is equal, but white looks so much better in that position.

 

Are there any rules or tips on dealing with aggressive players? Like a pawn storm pusher. Any pawn move I make seems like a mistake. Its like there are certain defensive pawn patterns or something which I have no idea about

You have to find a way to disrupt attacks with threats of your own. It's not enough to simply be defensive.

Most games don't get as extreme as this by move 11, but here's an example of the attitude you have to develop when you realize you're going to end up with too little room to maneuver. I blundered, missing that my opponent's 11,,,Ng4 was going to cost me material.
