Hi,

You may benefit from following general opening principles - these would help you get off to a reasonable start in your games.

You just put your pieces on squares where your opponents pieces can take it. In this phase, following general principles wońt help you very much. Before you move your pieces, you have to look at every single one of your opponent pieces and look: This piece can move there, there, there and there. Look at every single one of your opponents pieces and pawns. And only after that, you start looking at at every single of your pieces and ask yourself: if i move this piece to this square, cannot some of my opponenrs pieces take my piece. Do this thought process before every single move of every single game of yours. Eventually you stop giving your pieces for nothing. And then you will make usage of general principles.
