How to play chess against yourself in the app? Why there’s no option available in the mobile app?
Sort:
Times when you need to practice certain moves yourself and you play solo chess. But they have something else only. It’s so crazy.

You can do that on an analysis board.
How we do that on the app? I’m new here & couldn’t find it.

On the app, play versus computer and set both players to human.

The only real option on the website is to use the Analysis Board.

Hi,
i know it is a fairly old thread but I am using the Ipad version of chess.com and I cannot find a way to play both the whites and the blacks. When selecting the against the computer mode, all i have is the choice of computer characters which are listed by level. Then I can choose if i am white or black but there is no option to play against a human. So has this feature been removed from the ipad vesion?

I think there is now a feature called "Pass and Play" which allows you to play with someone in real life.

There is a solution for this. Just select play against the computer. Then scroll down to type game (standard, chess 360 etc). Chose custom setting. Reset the board. And now you can play yourself or against someone on the app. And you even have the big board!
Surely this should be under 'solo chess' . solo chess is just a random set up which means nothing.
