How to play endgame better?
Chess should be studied backwards: first endgames, then middle games, last openings.
The opening is to prepare the middle game; the middle game is to prepare the endgame.
Get a good book.
Most people find Silman’s Complete Endgame Course useful.
I’ve benefitted from Pandolfini’s Endgame Course, Dvoretsky’s Endgame Manual, and dipping into many of the almost 60 endgame books on my shelves.

I don't want to say something stupid, but in my opinion, to learn to play endgames well, we absolutely need to play long games. Even playing 15'10" I very often reach the endgame with little time available, while this phase lasts much longer than the middle game and requires a lot of calculation and very precise play ( right ? ) ; so I always feel like I’m missing the chance to really learning how to play endgames.
