i need to play opponents my strength but all of my recent opponents are terrible and i keep losing rating points to them.

how can i boost my rating strength?

Get better at chess - your performance has nothing/little to do with the opponents you get paired with.

I was consistently at 1600 for a while. I should not have to "Get better" to play opponents my strength.
