how to play the Italian Game correct

The problem is some of what the OP said on this forum isn’t correct.
It really depends on Black moves.
The OP is also confused on what the Fried Liver actually is.
Here is the starting position of the Italian Game.
Black has a few moves they can play which are very common.
- Black has 1 Knight move - Nf6
Known as Knight Defense
- Black has 2 Bishop moves - Bc5 or Be7
Bc5 is known as Guiacco Piano
Be7 is known as Hungarian Defense
- Black has 2 Pawn moves - d6 or h6
d6 is known as Paris Defense
h6 is known as Anti-Fried Liver
——————————————
If Black plays Nf6 (Knight Defense), Black is attacking White undefended e4 pawn and white has a few ways to defend it.
1 way is by playing Ng5
This line is known as the Knights Attack variation
Use the adverb "correctly" for proper English.

@Conpadre_J I think it is known as fried liver attack
The Fried Liver Attack is a very specific position which is the below position:
The Knight Variation could potentially lead to the Fried Liver Attack or it may never reach the Fried Liver Attack.
It just depends on how Black plays.
The move Nxd5 is considered an error by Black and most strong players don’t play it.
