If you have a bad connection with lots of lag, why not play slow chess?

Just curious. What kind of lag have you measured to chess.com when you ping it?

I do play slow chess, but my blitz rating is so awful... also, I do like a little speed.

I think i got 88 ms, but is that good or bad?

If your connection is good and it is still happening it might be because of lag compensation ,although i'm not sure if it would be the case even then . check your up down speed. I might just be retarded but 88 ms does not sound familliar , megabytes p/ sec?

You should by a computer with a very strong CPU and graphics card

He should not need a very strong graphics card and cpu for 2d pictures moving across the board . It would be a waste of money . If it is a computer issue and it needs to be replaced any average/below average pc would do .
