Hi, I'm a player at the high 1800's. I really want to reach 2000 , and I would like some advice. I t could be thinking processes, study plans, what content to study at my level or anything like this. Feel free to take a look at my games.

How much study did you need to get there? If you did study, what study plan did you follow?

You have a 17-game winning streak, you will get to 2000 in no time, just make sure you know imbalances such as queen vs 2 rooks, and you also understand chess concepts, knowing to blockade an isolated pawn is different from understanding why you need to blockade the pawn, the understanding part is crucial to know when to implement them

That winning streak includes unrated games with three of my irl friends, and they are 750, 1200 and 1300 so the winning streak is actuallly 10 games

What does OTB mean, and what is it

You're close. What's your training regimen? I would recommend :

1. 20 tactical puzzles daily

2. A game with a stronger bot. Study the opening. Improve opening lines you don't know, or drop the line if you are consistently doing poorly in it. I dropped the nimzo and bogo indian and went from 2300 to 2400 in blitz.
Where is the source of your losses? Are you blundering a lot? Improve that.
I wrote a whole book on how I reduced my blunders and how it helped me go from 2000 to 2200. I still blunder but statistically less than before.
Just look within and ask yourself honest questions about where the issues are. Probe your games and find patterns.

People will come here and suggest training regimens and similar - none of that is needed to get from where you are now to 2000. You’ve done a lot of the hard work.

For me, it was just a matter of time and slightly polishing my openings to ensure I picked up more of the easy wins and got positions I liked more frequently. That and polishing my king/pawn endings to the point where I can win or draw them in my sleep if it’s one I know.

Good luck!!

Over The Board, It means an irl tournament where you play physically with a board and other people

I do multiple puzzles daily, Play a bit of rapid until I reach my goal, and analyze my games without an engine first, Then use the engine to confirm.I rarely do the analysis cause I'm too lazy, Im trying to work on that.I have a problem with converting advantages, and I'll try to say to myself that the game is not over until it's over, although I have a mindfulness. Anyways, Thanks for the advice!

#8 I played and studied quite a lot. Mininum 1-2 hours a day for half a year after reaching 1500, but on good days 3-4. I didn't follow a study plan - I chose some good openings, studied them, searched my weaknesses and studied on those subjects, I read some chess books (IM Jeremy Silman: The Amateur's Mind till 1800, I see you are past that point, IM Jeremy Silman: Silman's Complete Endgame Course), and solved a dozen of puzzles. It's all about dedication and how much time you have. Talent is 99% work and 1% natural ability.
